When arriving in the Robins Air Force Base area by plane, the nearest major airport is the Middle Georgia Regional Airport which is located about 10 miles from the base. Taxi service is available from the airport, or military personnel can contact the base transportation office at 478-222-0119. If arriving from the Middle Georgia Regional Airport, you are only 8 miles from Robins Air Force Base. If arriving by car, enter Interstate 75 and take exit 146 to Georgia Highway 247 Connector. Take exit 144 to Russell Parkway and the road will take you 10 miles directly to the base.
